Donathello de Hus is a top-quality mover and beauty combined at its finest. He has a lot of potential and a nice amount of power. His attitude is positive, and he gives the rider a good feeling in the saddle. Unfortunately Donathello de Hus show momentarily mild symptoms of stringhalt in the walk.
His sire, Don Juan de Hus won his 70-day performance test at Schlieckau with a fantastic final dressage score of 9.25. As a four-year-old, he won the French Championships in Saumur under Jessica Michel. At the World Young Horse Championships, Don Juan de Hus finished sixth in the final. Through Jazz and Krack C, Don Juan de Hus unites proven Dutch dressage genes; the reverse of this cross produced Zhivago and Vivaldi. Don Juan has also produced the licensing champions D'Egalité and Don Royal, as well as the young horse world champion, Don Martillo, in only a short period of time before his death.
The dam, Linda, was successful in the sport and produced several successful sport horses.
Full brother to Grand Prix stallion D’avie, which also won the world championships as a 6-year old and 7-year old.
